Job Duties & Expectations:

MAKES DAILY PICKUP AND DELIVERY RUNS

Using company trained driving techniques to safely operate vehicle

Making sure orders are available and awaiting pickup/delivery

Using appropriate lifting techniques to load and unload parts into vehicle

Receiving parts from vendors to return to parts department and delivering parts to customer

Providing excellent customer service to enhance development of lasting business relationships with customers

MAINTAINS PARTS TRUCK

Keeping parts runner cart clean

Insuring the cart is maintained and in running condition

Notifying supervisor or any mechanical problems or damage to cart

ASSISTS OTHERS IN PARTS DEPARTMENT

Pulling parts orders and putting up stock

Assisting with shipping/receiving

Assisting with inventory counts

Daily activity is 75% sitting and 25% walking or standing.

Essential Job Functions:

Frequent and periodic speaking, reading (English), writing (English), recollecting, sitting, standing, walking, twisting, squatting, climbing, for multiple sequential periods of 30 minutes or more; lift 50 pounds, occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds

Position requires bending, stooping, kneeling, or squatting, handling, lifting and outward reaching daily

Position requires driving parts to and from the service repair shop

Must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with the maximum amount of safety

Follow Safety Protocols While Driving

Exposure to weather between truck cab and pick-up/drop sites, offices, warehouse, and yard AND during pre- and post-trip inspections.

Able to complete required paperwork accurately and completely

Ability to work under pressure
