Te Mahi | About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to complete multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes for ACC such as the training for independence contract and other providers in the community.
It is a highly autonomous role with the flexibility to work around your lifestyle. This position will suit someone who thrives on challenges, creative opportunities and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary community setting.
Job Location: Auckland
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent offering 40 hours per week
We're looking for someone who brings:
The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of post-graduate experience in managing physical injuries. A demonstrated interest in providing rehabilitation to a diverse range of service users, including those recovering from musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and working on returning to independence, as well as those with serious injuries (SCI, TBI, burns and polytrauma), will be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will have:
Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
Proven ability to communicate and interact effectively with patients and a wide variety of staff.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Time management and relationship-building skills.
A commitment to providing the best service delivery to our service users.
A valid Full NZ Driver's License
The ability to travel around the region.
The right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
