These tasks interest you:
• You will work in an interdisciplinary team with highly qualified software engineers, UI/UX experts, Agile coaches, and Product Owners on high-quality software solutions for complex and diverse challenges.
• Working directly with our clients, you’ll developsustainable concepts as a software engineer with a scientific approach, and implement them iteratively and incrementally together with your team.
• You will experience agile software development with us through daily scrums, reviews at the client’s site, and professional retrospectives with the support of our agile coaches.
• Learning by doing: As part of your project team, you’ll develop an increasingly better understanding of the principles and methods of high-end software engineering, such as clean code, automated testing, code reviews, and more.
• You will work self-organized within your project team and take on responsibility.
That makes you stand out:
• You have successfully completed a master’s degree or a Ph.D. in STEM and are passionate about software engineering in the age of AI.
• More than just theory: You love to tackle complex problems logically and analytically and use that approach to derive and implement high-quality, functional models of reality.
• You already have some practical experience in software development (e.g., in Python, Matlab, C++, Java), are a quick learner, and can quickly get up to speed with new technologies.
• You have already gained some first-hand experience with “AI for Software Engineering” (e.g., with Claude Code, Open Code, or GitHub Co-Pilot) and are eager to use these tools in our client projects.
• You’re committed to continuous self-improvement, e.g., through internal tech talks, cross-team communities, conferences, research, etc.
• You communicate openly and honestly, offer constructive criticism, accept feedback, and thereby continuously grow personally as well.
• You have very good German and English skills (at least C1 level) to ensure clear and confident communication within the team and with our partners.
Salary information:
Within our standardized and transparent salary framework, the gross annual salary of the position ranges from EUR 50,000 – 63,000 and is based on various factors such as qualifications and experience.
