We’re seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to provide personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of patients’ homes. As part of our collaborative team, you’ll help restore mobility, independence, and quality of life—one patient at a time.

Schedule: Flexible schedule on a PRN basis 

Areas of Coverage: Winchester and surrounding areas

A brief overview of Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of a Physical Therapist and by the physician’s plan of care

Direct and aid patient in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training

Utilize physical agents, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage

Instruct in use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices

Observe and report to the physical therapist the patient’s reaction to treatment and any changes in condition

Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements

Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant school

Must be licensed or registered in Virginia.

One year of home health experience PLUS!

Must have current CPR Certification
