The Physical Security Lead – Asia Pacific is responsible for providing strategic, operational, and technical oversight across the region’s security ecosystem, safeguarding LSEG in Asia Pacific region. This role leads all aspects of physical security, crisis management, investigations, and resilience, while managing the Global Alarm Response Centre (GARC) based in Bangalore.
The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior executives, enabling informed decision making on risk, compliance, and workplace safety. Working within the Global Security Leadership team to shape the future of global security operations and help shape the global security strategy.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure all offices in region are compliant with Physical security policy and standards
• Provide strategic oversight for physical security programs across 16 Asia Pacific nations, ensuring alignment with global security standards and business objectives.
• Conduct regional threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments to mitigate operational, political, and environmental risks.
• , policies, and performance meKPIs Maintain and provide KRI/data to Director of Security to measure effectiveness of security programme and adherence to Physical security Policy and standards
• Provide in region leadership for crisis management programme for the Group ensuring all key stakeholders are appropriately trained, incidents are escalated and managed within agreed process
• Train, coach, and certify Crisis Management Teams (CMTs) and Site Incident Management Teams (SIMTs).
• Collaborate with executives on regional resilience planning, continuity strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Implement proactive initiatives to strengthen organizational security culture across all levels of employees.
• Provide subject matter expertise, support and advice in respect of Physical security, CCTV and electronic access control in support of the property Services remit
• Deliver any security related projects as required by Director of Security, including writing of scopes, security design and implementation
• Act as the risk lead for security in region ensuring all security site risk assessments are completed in region to the required standard. any related risk are identified, placed on the departmental risk register and improvement plans/business cases put forward to mitigate identified risks
• Manage vendor performance, technology integrations, and budgetary oversight for regional security projects.
• Vendor manage the security related supply chain to achieve best in class service
• Establishing and developing relationships with external law enforcement and security agencies
• Lead internal investigations related to security breaches, misconduct, fraud, workplace violence, and asset loss.
• Partner with legal, HR, compliance, and external regulators to ensure ethical, compliant resolution of cases.
• Conduct investigations of any security related breaches or incidents as required
Technical / job functional knowledge
• Relevant security/risk management qualification
• Membership of a relevant professional body
• Project management qualification
Business and sector expertise
• Extensive relevant (minimum 10 years) Corporate Security management experience.
• Military or police background preferable
• Understanding of BC and DR
• Understanding of facilities management preferable
