PHYSICAL PRODUCT CREATOR, PAPER & DIY SYSTEMS

Product Development, Remote, Contract 

We are building a premium direct to consumer brand focused on beautifully designed, high performance physical DIY products made from paper and lightweight materials. This role is for a true maker. You design with your hands, test in the real world, and refine until the result is elegant, repeatable, and exceptional. 

This is not a concept only role. You personally design what you build, and you personally build what you design.

 
WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design original paper based and physical DIY products across multiple styles and themes

• Build, prototype, and refine every design yourself 

• Test, measure, and optimize for real world performance and consistency

• Ensure designs can be reproduced reliably by customers

• Create clear build instructions in English, diagrams, written steps, or short videos

• Contribute to themed kits, limited releases, and ongoing product improvements

• Support short form content such as build demos, testing, and behind the scenes maker content 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

We do not care about degrees. We care about proof of making. 

You must have:

• Hands on experience with paper design, origami, model building, or physical DIY products

• Ability to independently design, prototype, and refine physical builds

• Strong attention to detail, precision, and repeatability

• Clear written and spoken English 

• Comfort appearing in simple instructional or demonstration videos 

STRONG ADVANTAGES

• Experience sharing, teaching, or selling DIY designs

• Experience creating instructions for non technical users

• Interest in physical design optimization or mechanics

• Maker mindset, patient, methodical, iterative 

LOCATION AND WORK MODEL

• Fully remote

• Preference for Vietnam or Manila, Philippines

• Ability to ship physical prototypes

• Comfortable with live video reviews

• Occasional in person collaboration possible for Vietnam based candidates 

COMPENSATION
