What You'll Possess

Qualified Candidates Will:

You'll possess a High School Diploma. Associate's Degree or Technology Center Certificate preferred.

You'll possess three years of work experience and\or vocational training in construction trades.

You'll have a background in basic carpentry and care and using common hand and power tools. 

You'll have some finish carpentry experience. 

You'll have familiarity with HVAC, electricity, plumbing, and OSHA safety rules and regulations and procedures including proper use and disposal of hazardous materials.

You'll possess or be willing to obtain a Forklift Certification.

You'll possess or be willing to obtain a Bus Driver Certification.

You are detail-oriented and organized. You'll simultaneously work on several tasks related to all things TCT and manage them with ease. You're a project planner who meets deadlines.

You'll have excellent customer service. You're a fanatic about great customer service. You'll exceed expectations and have excellent follow-up skills. 

You'll take the initiative, seek out projects, and openly accept other duties as assigned.

You'll have excellent communication skills.

You thrive on the spark that happens when collaboration leads to innovation and enjoy a team environment.

You continually look for ways to improve your skill set and are always open to receiving feedback.

Physical Requirements: Frequent climbing, standing, stooping, and/or lifting 50+lbs 

What You'll Do

Essential Functions:

Perform preventative maintenance tasks for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building assets

Perform installation, troubleshooting, and general repair and maintenance for carpentry-related projects.

Patch, repair, and paint interior and exterior wall systems.

Assist with troubleshooting and repair of plumbing systems, including unclogging drains, repair and replacement of fixtures, and repair of leaks in water supply and sanitary drains.

Assist with general repairs, service, and general maintenance of the fleet vehicles.

Provide maintenance to walkways and service areas by assisting with leaf blowing, snow removal, etc. 

Assist in maintaining a clean and safe campus by promptly removing any debris, trash, or hazards as they arise.

Treat the interior and exterior of buildings as necessary for insect and rodent control. 

Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar, related, or a logical assignment to the job. In other words, you'll be helping out on spontaneous projects and opportunities not listed above.

Terms of Employment: Twelve months; salary to be established by the Board of Education.

Evaluation: Performance evaluated by the Senior Administrative Director per Board policy.

Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: $26.00 p/hour  ($54,000 annually)
