Activities will include all aspects of development life-cycles (e.g. estimating, analysis, development, test, etc.).An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who understands business goals and creates scalable and flexible technical solutions. The 3 main areas of experience required for this position are:

• PHP/PHP5/MYSQL
• Server management experience (Linux, Apache, MySQL)
• Magento implementation
• MUST HAVE STRONG MAGENTO EXPERIENCE

The core activities and responsibilities of the position include:
• Ability to produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code with an eye towards performance optimization
• Define, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, & enhance applications and tools in PHP, JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• Write secure code and exercise good judgment in handling sensitive data
• Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices
• Maintain high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies; keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects
• Write technical software requirements as needed
• Implement and maintain implementation of Magento best practices
• Evaluate developer code quality and provide input for performance evaluations
• Help other front end developers as needed
• Understand client short and long term goals and recommend appropriate solutions
• Set up, configure and optimize enterprise level e-commerce software and servers
• Develop custom modules for integration into ERP, accounting, fulfillment and marketing systems
• Integrate user interface designs, flows and processes
• Help evolve software development processes practiced by the team and help improve them so the firm delivers high quality product on time
• Be able to work on a team in an somewhat unstructured, creative environment and communicate clearly and concisely with designers, sales people, account executives and clients

What you need for this position: * 3-7 years of experience building scalable robust web or e-commerce applications

• Magento implementation

• Must be proficient with MySQL and be able to write complex queries, work with stored procedures, views, triggers, etc
• HTML/HTML5
