Located on the campus of Thomas Hospital
Our growing cardiology practice is seeking a friendly and professional Phone Operator to join our team in Fairhope, Alabama. In this important role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring prompt, accurate communication.
The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of patient calls in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous customer service or medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow.
This is a full-time, day shift position with no weekends and paid holidays off.

Responsibilities
Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally
Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries
Route calls to appropriate departments and clinical staff
Provide accurate information regarding appointments, messages, and office procedures
Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times
Document patient communication accurately
Collaborate with team members to improve patient experience and workflow efficiency
Assist with general front-office communication tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous customer service or healthcare experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
