PhD Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, etc) for AI Training

Role Overview

We are seeking Engineers with completed PhD degree in various domains of Engineering, including but not limited to Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering & Process Engineering, Applied Engineering & Systems Engineering. Work on cutting-edge projects with top AI labs, fully remote, with flexible weekly hours. No AI experience required.

Your responsibility will be to help fine-tune large language models (like ChatGPT) using your Engineering knowledge. You’ll design problems, check how well AI solves them, and work with researchers to build better benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

• Design advanced Engineering problems to test AI performance (e.g., Not limited to Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering & Process Engineering, Applied Engineering & Systems Engineering etc...). These will be conceptual, not involving coding.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to PhD-level Engineering topics.
• Requirements:
• PhD (completed ONLY) in Engineering.
• Strong computer science reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
• No AI experience required.

Commitments Required: 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST.

Employment type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)

Duration of contract: 2 months (possible extension)

Location: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico

Selection process: short analytical challenge
