Pharmacy Clerk

Towncrest Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy with locations in Iowa City, Solon, Marengo and New Hampton, IA. Recognized both regionally and nationally as a leader in community pharmacy, we are known for providing advanced patient care services to patients of all ages.

We are currently seeking 1 part-time Pharmacy Clerk to join our team at the Marengo Pharmacy location. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional, patient-focused team that values quality, collaboration, and community engagement.

About the Role
The Pharmacy Clerk plays an important role in supporting daily pharmacy operations and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include:

Operating the cash register and checking out customer orders

Counting the cash drawer at the end of each day

Cleaning and restocking shelves

Receiving inventory orders

Answering phones and directing customer calls to the appropriate personnel

Assisting customers with products, questions, and general concerns

The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, works well with patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals, and enjoys collaborating with a motivated and supportive team. Towncrest Pharmacy seeks someone who brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude to the workplace.

On the job training is offered, no prior experience or certification is necessary. High school or equivalent is required.
