Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to long-term care residents, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who's passionate about geriatrics and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to long-term care residents
Perform medication reviews and therapeutic consultations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements
Oversee dispensing accuracy and provide clinical oversight
Utilize electronic health records for documentation and communication
Support and direct pharmacy technicians and staff as needed
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers
Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
PharmD degree from an accredited program
Active Pharmacist License (required, from Michigan)
Active Controlle Substance License (required, from Michigan)
Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance
Clinical knowledge with a focus on geriatric populations
Skills & Competencies
Experience with pharmacy systems (Framework preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Compensation
Competitive salary ($127,000-$133,000)
