We currently have a role available for a Pharma Purification Chemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Purify organic samples using normal-phase and reversed-phase chromatography on milligram to multi-gram scale.

Utilize LC-MS systems to identify collection fractions.

Develop an appropriate purification method for unique mixtures.

Communicate with synthetic chemists regarding purification requirements and issues.

Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive lab.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

BS - Chemistry or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience OR MS-Chemistry with 0-1 year of industry experience (preferably pharma).

Familiarity with Agilent HPLCs and ChemStation software would be helpful.

Experience using Teledyne ISCO chromatography systems preferred.

Preparative experience purifying small molecule organics would also be preferred.

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

Works well both as a team and as an individual.

Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
