We currently have a role available for a Pharma Biophysical Chemist.  

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Execute protein purification and characterization using techniques such as SDS-PAGE, DSF, HPLC, FPLC, BLI, and other biophysical assays.

Prepare, analyze, and document samples with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards.

Maintain organized lab operations, including inventory management and meticulous record-keeping.

Analyzing data using Excel and/or custom analysis software.

Manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results within established timelines.

Presenting project data at meetings as needed.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

BS degree in Biology or relevant field with 2-4 years of laboratory experience or MS degree with 0-2 years of laboratory experience (biotech or pharma experience preferred).

Hands-on experience with protein purification and analytical techniques; familiarity with chromatography and biophysical instrumentation preferred.

Strong foundation in protein biophysics and structural biology, including protein folding, stability, and conformational dynamics; experience with structural techniques (e.g., cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography) and biophysical characterization methods is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

Works well both as a team and as an individual.

Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
