Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring as required
Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship
Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to prevent falls or injuries
Support clients with dementia or disabilities by implementing specialized care plans
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Document observations and report any changes in client condition promptly

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Knowledge of dementia care, medication administration, and caregiving best practices is advantageous
Previous involvement in patient care or nursing-related roles will be considered a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks effectively
Strong interpersonal skills for working compassionately with diverse populations
Certification in caregiving or related fields is a benefit but not mandatory
