Full-Time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and Part-Time Opportunities
Starting Salary: $23.00/hour (Commensurate with experience)

Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our growing home and community care team. We provide culturally grounded, community-based care to Elders and vulnerable clients, ensuring dignity, independence, and continuity of services.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Support clients in maintaining independence in their homes
Work collaboratively with nurses and allied health professionals
Document care using electronic medical records
Participate in care planning and team communication
Qualifications:
Personal Support Worker Certificate (recognized accredited program)
Experience in community or home care (preferred)
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organizational and communication skills
Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check (required upon hire)
Exposure to sacred medicines (tobacco, sage, cedar, sweetgrass) may occur in alignment with Indigenous cultural practices.
Preference may be given to Indigenous applicants as permitted under Section 14 of the Ontario Human Rights Code – Special Programs.
