Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of Civil Litigation experience and a strong background in Personal Injury matters. The ideal candidate will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, ensuring efficient case management, thorough document handling, and high-quality client service. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This position features 3 days of remote work each week.
Responsibilities::
• Case Management
• Assist attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation, from case inception through trial and settlement.
• Manage case calendars, deadlines, and litigation workflows.
• Organize, maintain, and update case files, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Personal Injury Support
• Prepare and manage demand packages, medical chronologies, and injury summaries.
• Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, and insurance documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, healthcare providers, adjusters, and opposing counsel regarding case status and documentation.
• Document Preparation & Filing
• Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• File documents electronically in state and federal courts (e-filing experience required).
• Assist in preparing exhibits, trial binders, deposition summaries, and mediation packets.
• Research & Investigation
• Conduct factual research related to parties, incidents, and claims.
• Assist with witness preparation, expert coordination, and case investigation.
• Perform background checks, public records searches, and gather pertinent case information.
• Client & Attorney Support
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and obtaining information needed for case progression.
• Schedule meetings, depositions, IMEs, mediations, and court appearances.
• Support attorneys during trial preparation, including coordinating logistics and managing trial materials.
