Job Description
America’s Got Soccer is seeking a highly capable, independent Personal Assistant & Recruiter to support the CEO directly and assist in HR/recruitment initiatives in a dynamic, fun, growing youth sports organization!
You will be trusted to take ownership, make decisions, solve problems independently, and remove friction across both executive priorities and talent acquisition. The right person thrives under pressure, prefers action over over-planning, and is comfortable operating with minimal direction.
You will work directly with the CEO and act as a front-line representative of leadership—both internally and with candidates—using sound judgment to move things forward quickly.
Requirements:
• Own and manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, and priorities across multiple time zones, making independent decisions to optimize time and focus.
• Anticipate problems before they arise and resolve them decisively, often without being asked.
• Act on behalf of the CEO when appropriate, using judgment rather than rigid process.
• Handle personal and professional logistics that would otherwise distract the CEO from strategic priorities.
• Prepare concise reports, research summaries, and briefing materials to support decision-making.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and logistics end-to-end, focusing on outcomes rather than perfection.
• Serve as a direct point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating clearly, factually, and efficiently.
• Manage information, documents, and systems in a way that supports speed, clarity, and execution.
• Own end-to-end coordination of recruiting pipelines for key roles, from inbound screening through first-round interviews.
• Conduct initial candidate screens and structured first-round interviews on behalf of the CEO and leadership team.
• Evaluate candidates against role requirements, values, and execution ability—not just resumes.
• Act as a high-judgment filter, escalating only qualified, aligned candidates to later interview stages.
• Coordinate interview scheduling across time zones and stakeholders with minimal friction.
• Draft outreach, follow-ups, and candidate communications that are direct, professional, and efficient.
Ideal candidate will have:
• Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Recruiter, HR Professional or a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a direct and factual style.
• Proficiency with modern productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving instincts and a bias toward action.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment.
• Logical, structured thinking with a preference for solving concrete problems.
• Capacity to work independently for long periods without supervision or micromanagement.
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Flexibility to shift focus quickly as priorities change across time zones.
Benefits:
Compensation: competitive salary based on experience
