Job Summary:
The Permit Coordinator plays a large role in ensuring that we are following each cities/towns standard for permitting. They are responsible for ensuring the pre-install and install work is within the specific city’s standards. The position requires attention to detail, organization, follow up, scheduling of inspections, and directing issues that may arise at the job site regarding permitting. The position will provide backup to other administrative production duties, as necessary.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements of Job:
· Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s permitting procedures and requirements.
· Collaborate with production manager(s) & plumbers to ensure permit procedures are being followed.
· Pull building/plumbing permits and work with HOA/Condo boards when applicable.
· Complete building permit applications for appropriate cities 1 week after order date.
· Coordinate and schedule required municipal inspections to ensure project timelines are met.
· Schedule tradesman for assigned jobs, ensuring proper documentation and timely project execution.
· Assist with pre-inspections, assist plumbers on complex jobs as needed.
· Ensure any 1099 contractor plumbers or W2 plumbers have all information needed for jobs when assigned.
· Utilize the milestone grid to follow job statuses and permits are not missed.
· Call the cities/inspectors to schedule rough-in and final inspections.
· Track permit receipts and upload to Corporate Card Bank on a routine basis.
· Process 1099 contractor invoices.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
· Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to gather, review, and analyze data accurately.
· Collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Computer Operations:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications used in the performance of job duties.

The physical requirements of this role may vary depending on the specific job duties and work environment. These may include, but are not limited to:
· Remaining in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods
· Frequent movement, including walking, bending, reaching, or climbing stairs
· Use of hands and fingers to operate computers, tools, or equipment
· Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25 lbs, depending on the role
· Working indoors and/or outdoors in various environmental conditions

Job Classification:
Job is non-exempt and eligible for overtime payment for hours worked over 40 hours per work week consistent with the Fair Labor Standards Act and company policies. Wages and benefits shall be paid consistent with Renuity, LLC wage and benefits policy.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this position will vary depending on the nature of the role and assigned duties. It may include one or more of the following settings:
· Office Environment: Professional setting with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise levels are typically low to moderate.
· Retail or Store Environment: Fast-paced setting with frequent customer interactions. May involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting or moving of merchandise.
· Warehouse Environment: Industrial setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment. May require standing, walking, and handling materials or machinery.
· Call Center Environment: Shared workspace with frequent phone and computer use. Noise level may be moderate due to multiple conversations occurring simultaneously.
· Field-based or Canvassing Environment: Outdoor work in various weather conditions. Requires walking, standing, and interacting with the public. Travel between locations may be required.
