Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Specialist Dietician to join a forward-thinking team delivering weight management and lifestyle medicine services. This permanent role is ideal for a dietitian with a strong background in sustainable weight loss strategies and a holistic approach to patient care.
Candidates with BSLM Core Accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine will be prioritised, though this is not essential. The successful applicant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in achieving long-term health improvements.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver tailored nutritional assessments and weight loss plans focused on sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Lead individual and group education sessions promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and behaviour change.
• Collaborate with GPs, psychologists, exercise specialists, and lifestyle coaches to provide holistic care.
• Monitor patient progress via digital platforms, phone consultations, and in-person clinics.
• Contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or relevant national body.
• Significant experience in weight management and lifestyle interventions.
• BSLM Core Accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
