About the role
As a Peripatetic Support Worker, you will provide support across a variety of our residential care homes and supported living services throughout Hampshire. This is a flexible and varied role where no two days are the same. You will work with a range of individuals with differing needs, personalities, and support requirements, helping to maintain high-quality care and continuity across services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and is confident working in different environments and with different teams.
About the Services
The people we support across our Hampshire services enjoy a wide range of activities including days out, music gigs and shows, cinema trips, bowling, long walks, gardening, visiting charity shops, and exploring local car boot sales. Every individual has their own interests, goals, and routines, and we are looking for compassionate and reliable staff to help them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Location: Hampshire
Salary: £13.45 per hour (reviewed annually)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Key Responsibilities
Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and promoting independence
Assisting with personal care where required
Encouraging participation in hobbies, activities, and community outings
Providing emotional reassurance and positive social interaction
Supporting individuals with routines, appointments, and activities
Working flexibly across different services to meet operational needs
Building positive relationships with the people we support, families, and colleagues
Maintaining accurate records and following care plans and risk assessments
Promoting dignity, choice, respect, and person-centred support at all times
Driver Requirement
Due to the nature of the role and travelling between services, a full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
