For the Client's Test Management Enablement & Automation engagement, CodeNinja brings a dedicated 12-person specialist team spanning Test Management, Automation Engineering, AI/ML, and Performance Testing — all governed under a structured 20-week program delivery framework.

About the Role

The Performance Testing Lead owns the performance testing strategy, SLA definition (95th percentile <2s, 1000+ TPS), capacity planning with the Client's infrastructure, execution governance, and final performance validation report sign-off. This role sets the performance quality bar for the entire the Client's programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the performance testing strategy including load profiles, SLAs, and acceptance thresholds for the Client's applications.

• Set target SLAs: 95th percentile response time <2s for critical transactions, throughput ≥1000 TPS for core banking APIs.

• Plan and execute Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance (8–24h), and Scalability test types.

• Coordinate with the Client's infrastructure teams on capacity planning, test window allocation, and resource provisioning.

• Govern the performance test execution cycle: Component → Integration → System → Production Validation.

• Analyse results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable tuning recommendations.

• Produce the final performance validation report with benchmarks, findings, and remediation guidance.

Integrate API-level performance scripts into CI pipelines as automated gates.

Requirements:
• 11+ years of performance engineering experience, with at least 4 years in banking or financial services.

• Expert-level proficiency in JMeter and/or Gatling; LoadRunner experience is a strong plus.

• Deep understanding of performance metrics: response time percentiles, throughput, error rates, and resource utilisation.

• Experience with banking transaction modelling (payment processing, core banking, digital channels).

• Knowledge of AppDynamics, HP BSM, or equivalent APM tools for observability correlation.

• Experience validating performance under peak banking loads (Ramadan, salary days, promotional events).

• Strong report writing and presentation skills for executive-level performance reviews.

• Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Performance Tester, Certified JMeter Expert, LoadRunner Certified.
