Position: Performance Testing Engineer
Join our dynamic team at Talent Worx as a Performance Testing Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the performance and scalability of our applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing a detailed performance testing strategy to identify and solve performance issues before they impact users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain performance testing plans and test cases to assess the performance of applications under various load conditions.
• Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate user activity and evaluate application responsiveness.
• Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to the development team for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and identify performance requirements.
• Create detailed documentation and reports on testing outcomes, including performance metrics and recommendations.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning efforts for application infrastructures.
• Monitor applications in production to ensure they meet performance standards and respond to alerts proactively.
Requirements:
Key Requirements:
• 4-7 years of experience in Performance Testing with a focus on load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Proficient in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of web applications, APIs, and underlying architectures.
• Ability to write and execute scripts in languages like Java, Python, or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
