Job Description:

Title : PeopleSoft Project Manager

Location : Madison, WI

Duration : 14 Months 

SV Tech Systems is recruiting ‘PeopleSoft Project Manager’ for their direct ‘Madison, WI client. The client seeks a PeopleSoft Project Manager for a major PeopleSoft ERP implementation. The client needs to migrate from its PeopleSoft Financials (FMIS) system to a new system. This will be a two phased project with Financials (GL/AR/AP) scheduled to go live first and HR/Payroll to go live second. The PM is expected to develop, plan, and implement the phases of the implementation. 

There will likely be other, related projects needed to assist in fully integrating the Client's project with legacy and/or future (BAS) project phases that are currently in the early planning stages.

The anticipated start date for this position is February, 2015 and will run through 06/30/2016 with the possibility of two optional one year extensions.

The successful candidate must have experience implementing PeopleSoft Financials, HR and payroll, a PMP certification or strong PM training and experience, an understanding of business-employee benefit administration including pension and insurance, and vendor management experience. Strong communication skills are a must.

Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports 1+ Yrs.

Management of medium projects * 4+ Yrs.

Microsoft Project * 3+ Yrs.

Strong verbal communications skills with ability to clearly present information and ideas to groups *  

Strong written communication skills and ability to use MS Office to provide clearly written reports *  

Understanding of project management methodologies * 5+Yrs.

PeopleSoft Enterprise

Basic understanding of PeopleSoft Enterprise - GL, AP/PO, Grants Suite and associated tables * 4+ Yrs.

Experience working with PeopleSoft tech support * 1+ Yrs.

Nice to Have

Administration - Customer Service

Call Tracking Software 1+ Yrs.

Customer service management 3+ Yrs.

Service delivery management 3+ Yrs.

Administration - Project Management

Ability and willingness to understand and execute the department’s project management methodology.

Create & modify system documentation: Intermediate MS Visio, SharePoint 2+ Yrs.

Workflow process development 2+ Yrs.

Information Technology - Project Management

Experience in Management of Data Conversion Project 2+ Yrs.

PeopleSoft Enterprise

Experience working with bolt-ons and other modifications 1+ Yrs.

Production problem resolution and debugging skills * 3+ Yrs.
