Core Responsibilities:


Process employee lifecycle transactions in the HRIS (UKG), including hires, terminations, promotions, and other job changes.


Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.


Respond to and resolve employee inquiries submitted through the case management system (Freshservice) in a timely and professional manner.


Support HR compliance and governance by assisting in regular internal and external HR audits, ensuring data and documentation accuracy.


Partner with HR, benefits, and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely data transfer for payroll processing.


Collaborate with the payroll team to address compensation-related changes and ensure compliance with local laws.


Maintain employee knowledge content for our India region.


Work with the Immigration team to assist with immigration processes.

Benefits and Leave Administration:


Act as the main point of contact for employees on benefits-related inquiries.


Ensure compliance with local laws and complete necessary regulatory benefits-related filings.


Manage benefit administrative tasks such as new hire enrollment and dependent changes, as well as required vendor and regulatory reporting.


Administer and track leave requests in compliance with India-specific policies and regulations, including statutory entitlements.


Advise employees on leave options and entitlements, ensuring seamless coordination for return-to-work processes.


Provide additional benefit administration tasks as defined.

General Responsibilities:


Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.


Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HR operations.


Prepare reports and analytics related to HR data for leadership review.


Provide system training to employees and managers as needed.

Qualifications:


3–5 years of HR operations experience specific to India.


Strong understanding of Indian labor laws (Shops and Establishments Acts, DPDP Act).


Experience with HRIS (UKG preferred) and case management (Freshservice).


Excellent organizational, compliance, and communication skills.
