People Operations Intern
Duration: Through the summer, with potential for extension based on business needs (not guaranteed)
Reports to: Director of People and Culture
Schedule: Minimum 3 days per week, additional hours to be discussed
*Must have reliable transportation*
Position Overview
This internship supports day-to-day operations, team experience, and internal initiatives across the organization.
The role works closely with leadership and team members to help ensure smooth execution of internal processes, onboarding, events, and communication. It’s designed for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Team Experience Support
Assist in preparing onboarding materials and training resources
Coordinate training schedules and support new hire logistics
Prepare office space, materials, and setup to create a welcoming and organized onboarding experience
Internal Events & Culture Initiatives
Support planning and execution of internal events and team initiatives
Assist with logistics including scheduling, materials, vendor coordination, and setup
Help ensure events are organized, timely, and aligned with team experience goals
Operations & Documentation
Assist in drafting, formatting, and updating SOPs using internal templates
Support documentation of processes and workflows across departments
Contribute to ongoing operational improvements and process consistency
Internal Communications
Assist in creating and formatting internal newsletters and team communications
Ensure office bulletins are updated and accurate
Communicate general office information and notifications to the team as needed
Take organized notes during meetings when needed
Office Operations Support
Provide front desk coverage on an as-needed basis (greeting guests, answering phones, directing inquiries)
Assist with general office organization and upkeep to maintain a professional and welcoming environment
Cross-Functional Exposure
Provide support to multiple departments as needed to assist with operational execution
Gain exposure to how different areas of the business collaborate and function
