People Operations Coordinator (Intake & Community Outreach)
Location: In-Person, Yucaipa (& surrounding areas | travel paid)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Occasional evenings and up to 2 weekends/month for events

About the Role
This role supports both intake operations and community outreach, helping guide families from first inquiry to program start while expanding our presence through events and partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and people-centered—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values both operational excellence and human connection.
What You’ll Do
Intake, Operations & Administrative Support
Manage the intake process from initial inquiry through program start
Ensure all client documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
Communicate with families and internal teams to support a smooth onboarding experience
Track funder requirements and proactively follow up to prevent delays in services
Maintain accurate records, audits, and reporting
Support intake KPIs and contribute to improving workflows and systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Scheduling, Billing, and Leadership teams
Maintain organized systems, follow-ups, and communication tracking
Community Outreach & Events
Represent The Behavior Lab at community events, schools, and partner locations
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with families and community partners
Support event setup, coordination, and breakdown
Assist in planning and executing outreach events and initiatives
Track outreach efforts, engagement, and event outcomes
Support materials, logistics, and light content capture as needed
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required
1+ year experience in intake, customer service, outreach, or related field
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace
Experience in ABA, healthcare, or service-based environments is a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive, reliable, and solutions-oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with event setup
Ability to travel locally for outreach and events
Comfortable working both in-office and in community settings
