About the job 

 Are you passionate about ensuring data quality and integrity? Join Sanofi in one of our corporate functions and play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our data assets. As a Data Steward specializing in Human capital management, you will be responsible for managing and governing data to support organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Main responsibilities: 

• Drive data quality initiatives across multiple systems and platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency

• Lead data classification and documentation in our Data Catalogue following internal governance standards

• Enables data for Data Foundation and act as Subject Matter Expert

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to data governance 

• Identify data quality issues, investigate root causes and implement solutions 

• Partner with Senior stakeholders to establish Global Data rules & definitions

• Drive data sharing requests in collaboration with digital teams providing support for Snowflake data foundation 

• Key point of contact for domain knowledge, train local network, and document best practices

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data stewardship methodologies

About you  

• 3-5 years of experience in data stewardship, or data governance roles

• 3-5 years of experience with Workday HCM (Certification highly valued)

• Experience working with People data, preferably in HCM domain, with expertise in Positions and Cost Centre Management

• Proven track record of implementing data quality improvements and governance processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions

• Strong communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within cross-functional teams

• Experience in Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog, Power BI, Excel, and Snowflake Data Foundation

• Very good knowledge of Workday Analytics & Data Architecture

• Degree in Information Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field
