Required Skills
Job Description
About us::
SRLabs is home to some of the sharpest minds in cybersecurity. We secure critical infrastructures in finance, energy, and telecommunications — not through compliance checklists, but through hands-on hacking resilience. Our work lives at the intersection of deep technical research and impactful consulting for organisations that care about staying ahead of real threats.
We’re a team of 60 people based in Berlin, with colleagues from all over the world. We come from diverse backgrounds — from reverse engineering and exploit scripting to process design and consulting — and that mix is something we genuinely value. We’re part of Allurity, a European cybersecurity group of 12+ sister companies, which gives us scale without sacrificing our startup energy.
Your responsibilities:
We're building something different here, and we need a People partner who's genuinely excited about that — someone who sees HR as a craft, not a function."
As our People & Culture Partner, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Head of People & Culture and a small, close-knit People team to make SRLabs a place where curious, sharp, and driven people do the best work of their careers. You’ll be the trusted go-to for our employees and team leads — covering the full employee lifecycle, coaching managers, and contributing to a culture built on transparency, trust, and continuous growth.
Expect variety. From onboarding new hires and supporting performance conversations to running eNPS surveys, refining our processes, and collaborating on group-wide People initiatives across Allurity — no two weeks look the same. You’ll need to be as comfortable in a one-on-one coaching conversation as you are updating a policy in Personio.
Business Partnering & Employee Support
• Serve as the main People point of contact for employees and team leads — approachable, direct, and reliable.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders; advise on performance, team dynamics, development, and conflict management.
• Coach managers on people leadership, employee engagement, and effective communication — in a way that sticks.
• Support change management initiatives and help embed new ways of working across the organisation.
Performance & Talent
• Support our biannual SMART goal process, ensuring clarity and fairness across all evaluations.
• Partner with managers to identify development needs and create meaningful individual development plans.
• Promote internal mobility and contribute to succession planning conversations with leadership.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
• Own end-to-end onboarding for new hires — from day zero through their first months — making it personal, not procedural.
• Monitor and improve employee satisfaction through our eNPS survey and other feedback loops.
• Contribute to People team projects that strengthen culture, inclusion, and psychological safety.
Policies, Processes & Systems
• Maintain and continuously improve our HR wiki and onboarding documentation — useful, not bureaucratic.
• Ensure policies, work contracts, and processes are up to date, compliant with German labour law, and easy to navigate.
• Keep our systems (primarily Personio) well-maintained and act as an internal guide for employees and managers.
Employee Relations
• Handle employee relations cases in a legally compliant, consistent, and human way.
• Advise on conflict resolution and mediation — with fairness, discretion, and no unnecessary drama.
Cross-Company Collaboration
• Participate in joint People initiatives across our Allurity sister companies — recruitment standards, leadership development, training, and more.
• Share best practices and contribute to a broader People Hub that elevates HR across the group.
What do you bring?:
• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HRBP, or People Operations role — ideally in a fast-paced, international, or tech-adjacent environment.
• Solid, practical knowledge of German labour law — you know how to apply it in real situations, not just recite it.
• Experience coaching and advising team leads — you know how to build trust and influence without authority.
• Excellent communication in both German (C1) and English (C1) — you’re equally comfortable in a difficult feedback conversation and a company-wide update.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset — you think in systems, document well, and bring order without bureaucracy.
• Genuine curiosity about people, culture, and what makes teams work. You care about the “why” behind HR, not just the “what”.
• Intellectual respect for technical work — you don’t need to know how to hack, but you need to appreciate what our people do and why it matters.
• Take ownership of your work — you follow through, flag problems early, and don’t wait to be told what to do next.
• Value substance over process — you’;ll improve how we work, but you’re never the person who introduces red tape.
• Find the intersection of people and technology genuinely interesting — HR in a cybersecurity company is not like HR anywhere else.
What awaits you with us?:
• A front-row seat in the world of cybersecurity — one of the most interesting and relevant fields there is right now.
• A close-knit, international team that takes the work seriously but doesn’t take itself too seriously.
• 30 days of paid vacation.
• 1000 € of annual learning budget — for conferences, courses, or whatever helps you grow.
• BVG public transport pass and gym membership discounts.
• German language lessons (if you need them).
• Annual company retreat — a week of working holiday packed with knowledge sharing, team building, and memorable evenings.
• Flexible home office.
• Competitive salary and the opportunity to grow with us.
• Access to group-wide leadership development programmes and cross-company People initiatives via Allurity.
