We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our team remotely within South East Asia.
The Role
The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the People & Culture Director and driving initiatives that enhance recruitment, culture, and the overall employee experience across Mad Monkey’s global operations. This role focuses on attracting top talent, supporting team engagement, and ensuring every team member has a positive and consistent experience throughout their lifecycle — from hiring through to offboarding.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about people, culture, and building strong teams, who thrives in a fast-paced, international hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Support the execution of Mad Monkey’s recruitment strategy across all regions and properties.
Partner with hiring managers and General Managers to understand hiring needs and ensure timely recruitment.
Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and proactive outreach.
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
Help ensure a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
Support recruitment initiatives such as open days, referral programs, and talent pipeline building.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting within BambooHR and other tracking tools.
Employee Experience & Lifecycle Support
Support initiatives that enhance the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, development, and offboarding.
Assist in delivering onboarding programs that ensure new team members feel welcomed, informed, and set up for success.
Help ensure all employee lifecycle processes are structured, consistent, and aligned with company standards.
Coordinate onboarding documentation, systems setup, and employee records management.
Culture & Engagement
Support and coordinate employee engagement programs and initiatives across all locations.
Help implement culture-building activities that align with Mad Monkey’s core values and strengthen team connection.
Assist in organizing recognition programs, team initiatives, and internal communications that reinforce culture.
Help ensure team members feel valued, supported, and connected to the organization.
Employee Feedback & Insights
Support the administration of employee engagement surveys, pulse checks, and feedback initiatives.
Assist in collecting, organising, and analysing employee feedback and engagement data.
Identify trends and provide insights to the People & Culture Director to support continuous improvement.
Support follow-up initiatives to improve employee experience based on feedback.
Coordination & Administrative Support
Provide coordination and administrative support to the People & Culture Director.
Maintain accurate employee records within BambooHR and ensure documentation is up to date.
Support HR projects, initiatives, and process improvements.
Assist with internal communications related to recruitment, engagement, and People & Culture initiatives.

Skills & Experience
Required
1–3 years experience in HR, recruitment, People & Culture, or administrative support
Strong interest in recruitment, culture, and employee experience
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and professionalism
Experience using HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)
Preferred
Experience in hospitality, travel, or multi-location environments
Experience coordinating recruitment or engagement initiatives
Experience supporting global or remote teams
