What You Will Do
People Operations & Employee Experience
• Serve as the trusted first point of contact for all Bangladesh employees, both permanent and contract, providing thoughtful, timely, and solutions focused support that builds confidence and connection.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle with care and precision, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring every interaction reflects our culture and values.
• Maintain the integrity of employee data across our HR systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight that informs people decisions.
• Navigate employee relations matters with empathy and professionalism, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and alignment with policy and culture.
• Act as HRIS owner for Bangladesh employees, contractors and permanent, via Deel, driving data consistency and system excellence.
• Provide end to end HR generalist support across policy interpretation, manager guidance, documentation, and day to day people operations.
Office Management & Administration
• Oversee day to day office management and administrative operations in Bangladesh, ensuring smooth, compliant, and well organised workplace operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for office vendors, facilities, and service providers, managing contracts, renewals, and costs effectively.
• Support office related budgeting, invoicing, and expense management in partnership with Finance.
• Coordinate office logistics including equipment, supplies, access, and onboarding readiness for new joiners.
• Ensure office policies, health and safety standards, and local compliance requirements are maintained and adhered to.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support
• Support end to end recruitment activities across Bangladesh, partnering with Hiring Managers to deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offer processes, and pre onboarding activities in collaboration with the global Talent Acquisition team.
• Support local employer branding and hiring initiatives aligned to global standards and local market needs.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data and documentation across systems, ensuring compliance and reporting integrity.
Global Projects & Strategic Initiatives
• Partner with the CPO and wider People and Culture team to drive global initiatives that strengthen people foundations and enable scalable growth, including projects across job architecture, performance enablement, employee development, and employee engagement.
• Support the optimisation of global HR systems and platforms, ensuring integration, consistency, and data driven decision making across markets.
• Contribute to the evolution of the global employee value proposition, helping to shape initiatives that attract, retain, and develop world class talent.
• Play a pivotal role in embedding a unified global culture, ensuring values and ways of working are consistently reflected across regions.
• Lead or support cross functional transformation projects that enhance organisational efficiency, capability, and collaboration.
Requirements:
What You Will Bring
• 10+ years’ experience in a People, HR Generalist, or People Operations role within a dynamic, scaling, or multi country organisation, ideally one navigating growth and transformation.
• Must be highly proficient in English – both written and spoken.
• Proven experience managing or coordinating Bangladesh payroll and benefits administration.
• Strong understanding of Bangladeshi employment law and compliance.
• A meticulous eye for detail and data integrity, ensuring accuracy and compliance across people and payroll processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build credibility and trust across all levels and geographies.
• A hands-on, can-do approach, confident working autonomously while collaborating effectively across global teams.
• Proven discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency with modern HRIS and payroll systems, for example Deel or similar platforms.
• A growth mindset, curious, proactive, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to global People and Culture initiatives.
