Pediatrician | Mandarin Fluency Required
Location: Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Japan (Remote/Telehealth)Language: Fluency in Mandarin & English required
Maven is seeking a Pediatrician fluent in Japanese to join our provider network. You will support existing and new members across Japan, Australia, and Oceania, delivering high-value, holistic reproductive care. As part of our network, you’ll collaborate with 350+ subspecialties and have the opportunity to scale access to reproductive health globally.
What You'll Do:
• Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
• Preventative Health and education on vaccinations
• Nutrition and feeding (breastmilk, formula, and solids)
• Introducing new foods/solids
• Skin concerns
• Cold and flu
• Parenting
• Behavioral Concerns
• Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
• Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
• Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone
Who You Are:
• Hold a medical degree (MD or DO) and be a board-certified pediatrician in your country of practice (e.g., FRACP in Australia, SAB-recognized specialist in Singapore).
• In good standing with all applicable medical boards; no history of malpractice, disciplinary actions, or loss/restriction of hospital privileges.
• Reside in Australia, Singapore, or elsewhere in the APAC region.
• Fluent in English and Japanese.
• Able to provide direct member care for 2 hours per week (part-time, independent contractor role – 1099 position or local equivalent).
• Have 2+ years of experience in telehealth and are comfortable providing care through a digital health platform.
• Passionate about women’s and family health.
