Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a private pediatric outpatient practice in Plainfield, NJ. In this role, you will provide direct care to infants, children, and adolescents through routine visits, sick visits, follow-up care, and treatment planning. This position is focused on practical outpatient care, clinical decision-making, and clear communication with families.

Position Details
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $75 to $90 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric patient assessments and review medical history
• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and conditions
• Order and interpret appropriate tests and screenings
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress
• Educate parents and guardians on treatment plans and next steps
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care
• Provide preventive care and wellness guidance

Requirements:
• Active NJ APRN License
• Board Certified as a PNP or FNP
• MSN or DSN required
• Experience in pediatrics or completed pediatric rotations
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
