Peak ENT Associates is a leading healthcare provider specializing in comprehensive Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) services. We are committed to delivering exceptional, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents. As we continue to expand our pediatric services, we are seeking a qualified and compassionate Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)—Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to join our Pediatric ENT team.
Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive pediatric ENT care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Collaborate closely with pediatric otolaryngologists and a multidisciplinary care team.
Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate, family-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Manage an independent patient panel within scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough pediatric patient assessments and obtain detailed ENT-focused medical histories.
Evaluate and manage common pediatric ENT conditions, including:
Recurrent otitis media
Tonsillitis and recurrent strep throat
Adenoid and tonsillar hypertrophy
Pediatric obstructive sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing
Chronic sinusitis
Speech and swallowing concerns
Congenital ear and airway abnormalities
Hearing concerns and failed newborn hearing screens
Perform in-office pediatric procedures within scope of practice, including:
Cerumen removal
Flexible laryngoscopy support
Nasal endoscopy assistance
Post-operative evaluations
Order and interpret diagnostic testing such as audiograms, tympanometry, imaging studies, and sleep studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
Provide age-appropriate education to parents and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Assist with surgical coordination and provide pre- and post-operative pediatric care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR.
Collaborate with audiology, speech therapy, primary care providers, and other pediatric specialists.
Participate in continuing education and remain current with advancements in pediatric ENT care.
Compliance and Safety:
Complete all required compliance and safety training.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Follow pediatric-specific infection control and safety protocols.
Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Maintain adherence to all regulatory, payer, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric NP preferred) or Physician Assistant.
Experience in pediatric ENT, pediatric primary care, or surgical subspecialty preferred.
Comfort caring for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
Strong communication skills with both pediatric patients and caregivers.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume clinical setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Dedication to maintaining clinical competency and ongoing professional development.
Work Conditions:
Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients across the lifespan from infancy through adolescence.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice.
Manage an independent caseload while collaborating closely with supervising physicians.
Provide procedural and perioperative support as needed.
Work primarily in outpatient clinic settings with occasional surgical center involvement.
Utilize EHR and healthcare technologies to manage patient care.
Maintain required licensure and continuing education.
Serve as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families to ensure timely, high-quality care.
