Pediatric Hospitalist
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $227,000–$298,000 annually

Position Summary

Provides direct inpatient medical care to acutely ill pediatric patients. Works as part of an interdisciplinary hospital team to manage patient care from admission through discharge, including general pediatrics, consults as needed, and management of patients with multiple comorbidities.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine

Completion of an accredited pediatric residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Nevada medical license

Nevada Pharmacy Board license and DEA registration

BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP may be required

Key Responsibilities

Manage inpatient pediatric medical care and treatment plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Provide consultations and coordinate care across services

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and standards

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a hospital or office setting with prolonged concentration

Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as needed
