As a PDK Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Intel's process design capabilities. Your mission will involve leading a team of talented engineers focused on developing and validating Process Design Kits (PDKs) that enable design teams to create Intel's groundbreaking products across diverse process nodes. By collaborating with cross-functional teams across Intel, you will ensure robust methodologies that enhance product quality, streamline workflows, and empower innovation. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team focused on the development and QA of PDK collateral, including design rules verification, parasitic extraction, fill algorithms, PERC ESD checks, and reliability verification across multiple process nodes and EDA tools.
• Drive the creation and execution of regression testcases and test suites to validate PDK functionality, automate regression runs, debug failures to address issues prior to release.
• Conduct root cause analysis of design challenges tied to specific process technologies and spearhead initiatives to enhance design methodologies for high-quality solutions.
• Build bridges across manufacturing process engineering, high-volume production teams, and design groups to ensure smooth integration of PDKs while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Set clear goals, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for technical and project deliverables within your team.
• Provide coaching, assess team member skills, facilitate development opportunities, and conduct performance reviews to drive individual and team growth.
• Inspire your team by role modeling Intel values, fostering collaboration, and maintaining a productive work environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with 9+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in the PDK domain or related field.
• Expertise in PDK development, QA processes, and/or customer support.
• Expertise in DRC, LVS and PERC verification, in one or more of the following EDA verification tool: ICV-PXL, Calibre-SVRF, or Pegasus runset development.
• Comprehensive understanding of PDK custom and back-end flows, including layout verification rule decks, parasitic extraction, DFM flows, PERC ESD checks, and reliability verification techniques.
• Experience with EDA tools, such as Virtuoso, Custom Compiler, StarRC, Quantus RC, Calibre-xRC/xACT.
• Strong technical planning, prioritization, and delegation skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with IC analog design, custom layout design, and verification flows.
• Knowledge of IC manufacturing process flows and CAD/CAE environments.
• Proven track record of leadership and team management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
