Responsibilities:

• Remediate PDF documents for accessibility standards including WCAG, PDF/UA, and Section 508, ensuring flawless execution.

• Remediate Microsoft Word and PowerPoint details to meet strict accessibility standards.

• Collaborate optimally with internal teams and partners to determine the best remediation strategies.

• Clearly communicate remediation processes, progress, and results to team members and clients.

• Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on finalized documents to ensure they meet high standards.

• Document changes made during the remediation process to maintain transparency and accuracy.

• Check every final document using assistive technologies such as JAWS and NVDA to confirm accessibility and usability for screen reader users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on document remediation experience, showcasing your ability to successfully implement accessibility solutions.

• Expertise with Adobe Acrobat Pro and the Microsoft Office Suite, proving your technical proficiency.

• Experience with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA), to ensure you can verify document accessibility.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and protocols, reflecting your dedication to inclusion.
