Pay: $30.76 – $41.50/hr (DOE)

Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr • Weekends +$3.00/hr • National cert +$2.00/hr

Schedule: Full-time • Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Sign-On: $15,000 Nights • $10,000 Days (2% on 1st/2nd check; balance paid in 6-month increments)

Relocation: Case-by-case

Location: Brooksville, FL (Nature Coast)

Overview

Join a 46-bed Cardiac PCU/Stepdown (3rd floor) where 100% of patients are on telemetry. Typical cases: Afib, RVR, pre/post-cath, and cardiac comorbidities. Standard ratios 4–5:1 (may flex to 5–6). Night shift nurses here own rapid rhythm recognition, tight handoffs, and smooth throughput for a high-growth hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused cardiac assessments and continuous telemetry/rhythm interpretation; escalate promptly.

• Manage meds and non-titrating drips; document responses and adverse events accurately.

• Coordinate diagnostics/consults; partner on throughput, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.

• Educate patients/families on HF zones, anticoagulation safety, post-cath expectations, and follow-up.

• Uphold core measures and safety bundles (falls, infection prevention) and deliver clean, concise handoffs.

Required

• Active Florida RN (or compact; obtain active FL within 60 days if compact).

• 1+ year RN experience (acute care required).

• AHA BLS at start.

• ASN/ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).

Also Considered

• LTACH, Home Health, or Rehab backgrounds with solid acute-care readiness.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base: $30.76–$41.50/hr (experience-based).

• Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr; Weekends +$3.00/hr; National certification +$2.00/hr.

• Sign-On: $15k Nights • $10k Days (structured payout as above).

• Relocation: Case-by-case.
