PCF - Pivotal Cloud Foundry Specialist

Talent Worx is seeking a highly skilled PCF - Pivotal Cloud Foundry Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on overseeing and managing the Pivotal Cloud Foundry environment, enabling the organization to leverage cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and a passion for developing scalable and efficient cloud solutions.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Pivotal Cloud Foundry environments ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Deploy, manage and monitor cloud-native applications using PCF.
• Work closely with development teams to facilitate seamless application deployments and migrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, application performance, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment.
• Document processes and provide training to team members on Pivotal Cloud Foundry usage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and its components.
• Proficiency in cloud computing concepts and deployment models.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse).
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (Java, Go, Shell).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering roles.

Preferred:

• Certifications related to Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
