PCBA /Soldering Technician (m/f/x)

What awaits you at Mynaric:
• Support in the introduction of new products to the SMT line, by executing engineering provided work instructions
• Assist with developing initial process programs including reflow, pick and place and inspection processes
• Program, load, and operate automated equipment
• Triage non-conforming product and process issues and work with engineering to drive resolution and preventative actions
• Resolve production issues while ensuring design integrity, product quality, and delivery timelines
• Enable the successful transition of a product’s development from engineering to production
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for your area and products
• Support assigned maintenance activities on machines and traceability

What you bring with you:
• 2-3 Years experience in a production with high standards (Aero/space or automotive)
• Experience with machines including SMT Line, Mechanical, Test Equipment, etc.
• Ability to deliver high quality hardware in a fast paced NPI environment
• Ability to adapt and process change quickly
• Computer skills (email, Microsoft Windows)
• Good English Skills (written and verbal) and teamwork skills

Nice to Haves:
• Experience programming, loading and operating the following automated equipment: paste printer, solder paste inspection (SPI), pick and place, reflow oven, automated optical inspection (AOI)
• Experience producing J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 or equivalent hardware
• electronic background would be a nice to have (otherwise dental technician or machine operators)
• basic knowledge and understanding about ESD
• Experience with hand soldering a fine pitch (best case IPC 610 Certified) 

Additional Requirements:

• Extended hours and weekend work may be required to support critical project and mission milestones
• Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Able to lift up to 25lbs.
