Job Description
Team Member – Electronics (PCB Layout Design Engineer - Contract)

Role Summary/Purpose Design Engineer is responsible to work independently and capture requirement for the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Layout, Foot Print Creation, maintain library, releasing design package (Gerber files), follwoing EMI / EMC Standards for design.
Essential Responsibilities 1) Design, Develop and Manage high frequency mixed signal boards
2) Design, Develop and Manage high power (kW range) power electronics boards
3) Design and Develop Multilayer PCB
4) Strong knowledge on IPC Standards
5) PCB Design as per the EMI / EMC standards
6) Strong Skills for Library development and Layout in software like Orcad (must), Altium, Allegro, Eagle, Mentor Grapics etc
7) Review deliverables with stakeholders
8) Demonstrate robust design principles in execution
9) Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge of self
Qualifications/Requirements 1) BE/BTech in Electronics / Electrical with minimum 4+ years (less than 8 yrs) of work experience in PCB layout design and creating library
2) Demonstrated design experience in working with Microcontroller, FPGA & DSP based system
3) Experience in Designing system using DSP, SoC Solutions
4) Proven hands on experience in designing and maintaining the versions of the already existing boards
5) Hands on experience in design of High frequency Mixed Signal Boards and High power (kW) Power Electronics Boards
6) Experience with end to end product development from schematic to Gerber creation and release of design package
10) Demonstrated ability in Software tools like Orcad (must), Altium, Allegro, Eagle etc
7) Strong interpersonal, Communication and Presentation skills
8) Proven track record of Technical capability demonstrated
9) Great Team player and ability to influence the team technically
Desired Characteristics  Experience in designing Mixed Signal Analog and Digital Design of Printed Circuit Boards, Higher Power Printed Circuit Boards

 EMI / EMC knowledge for layout design, library creation, Design Package Release

 Design and Develop Multilayer PCB

 Experience in Lab Testing of Electronic Boards is plus

 Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressure

 Six Sigma certification is preferred
