Payroll Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role focuses purely on payroll operations — not finance or accounting — and requires strong knowledge of local labor laws, government contributions, and payroll compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, government contributions, mandatory deductions)

Prepare and submit required government reports and filings

Manage payroll adjustments (overtime, leaves, bonuses, commissions, retro pay)

Handle payroll-related employee inquiries

Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality

Coordinate with HR for employee changes (new hires, resignations, salary adjustments)

Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

Support audits related to payroll and statutory compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

3–6 years of hands-on payroll processing experience

Strong knowledge of statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.)

Experience handling full payroll cycle independently

Familiarity with Sprout payroll system

Good understanding of labor law and tax compliance

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to handle confidential information with integrity

Good communication skills
