Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond.
• End-to-end payroll for ~750 employees: Independent processing including hires, terminations, employee data changes, salary changes, as well as timely review and verification of all payroll‑relevant data.
• Social insurances & taxes: Responsibility for social security matters, family allowances, daily accident & sickness benefits, pension fund, and withholding tax; payroll account reconciliations as well as reportings for Accounting.
• Process optimization & systems: Active contribution to the optimization and further development of payroll processes in the new payroll system Papaya.
• Point of contact & compliance: Competent advisor for employees, line managers, and external stakeholders on employment and social insurance matters; support during audits, reporting, annual financial statements, and salary certificate preparation.
• Teamwork & specialist support: Support to P&C Administration in complex social insurance cases and close collaboration with the Payroll Manager.
• Professional qualifications: Commercial apprenticeship EFZ, further training in payroll/social insurances; excellent knowledge of Swiss labor law, social insurances, and withholding tax; interest in an industrial environment; an advantage: experience working with international employees.
• Professional experience: At least 5 years of payroll experience (ideally in a large company with a complex structure); collaboration with external payroll providers; ability to deputize for the Payroll Manager during absences.
• Methodological skills: Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, queries); highly analytical, structured, solution‑oriented; very good German and English skills.
• Personal competencies: High quality standards, process‑oriented; independent, proactive, reliable; trustworthy, discreet, and a strong team player; quick to familiarize oneself with new tasks thanks to process descriptions/regulations.
• Decision‑making ability: Confident decision‑making within defined areas of responsibility.
