Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration (Primary Focus)
Process payroll for all plant employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Manage and audit hourly timecards, attendance records, and pay adjustments.
Track and administer employee time off, including vacation, sick leave, FMLA, and other leave programs.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, responding to employee payroll-related inquiries.
Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of all employee information.
Generate payroll-related reports, including headcount, overtime, and labor metrics.
Ensure proper documentation and record retention for payroll and compliance purposes.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, especially in payroll processing.
Solid understanding of payroll practices, wage laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and payroll/timekeeping systems.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
