Job Description: We’re seeking a full-time experienced payroll and benefits specialist to join our team in our corporate office in Watkinsville, GA. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, works accurately with numbers, understands and works with complex processes, and has strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains the upkeep of our payroll system: employee roster, employee statuses, pay rates, PTO, insurance deductions, direct deposits, etc.
Oversees and manages bi-weekly payroll (approve timecards, deductions, pay codes, expense reports, wage and hour laws, garnishments, etc.)
Manages daily operations of company 401(k) including eligibility determination, enrollment, updates, loans, rollovers
Oversees benefits coordination including open enrollment, payroll updates, invoice reconciliation, SPDs, 1095s, benefits enrollment system
Trains new employees on the payroll system and how to fill out expense reports
Assists with monthly invoices for clients
Completes regular audits of invoices, files, and other items
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in payroll & benefits preferred
Accounting degree preferred
Schedule Details:
Full-time, 40 hours a week (Mon - Fri 8:00am-5:00pm)
