Position: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you an organised, detail‑driven payroll professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment? We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us on a 12‑month fixed term contract, supporting our payroll and benefits function and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of wages, salaries and employee rewards across our business.

Main Responsibilities

• As our Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations, including:

• Accurately process payroll amendments via Workday or directly into the payroll system.

• Review error, exception, and element reports to ensure data accuracy.

• Ensure all payroll data is ready for transmission four days before pay day.

• Maintain up‑to‑date records for all leave types and apply correct pay calculations.

• Respond promptly to queries from the Payroll Admin inbox.

• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams across allocated payroll sites.

• Collaborate with payroll colleagues to deliver high‑quality service.

• Process pension deductions in line with auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice requirements.

• Ensure new starter and leaver documentation is accurately uploaded.

• Support distribution of P45s, P11Ds, P60s and other statutory documents.

• Assist with end‑of‑month/week reporting, benefits input and reconciliation.

Person Specification

• Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proactive, enthusiastic and an adaptable mindset.

• Calm and focused under pressure.

• Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.

• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
