We’re looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer to join our Auckland team in a part-time role with flexibility to work around school hours. This is a great opportunity to own payroll end-to-end while staying connected to a dynamic, global business.

What you’ll be doing
Own NZ payroll end-to-end – ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing, reconciliations, and employee support
Support accounts payable – manage invoices, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations
Oversee expenses & credit cards – review, approve, and ensure policy compliance
Assist with month-end – support payroll journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Provide US payroll backup – step in as needed to support continuity
Drive improvements & compliance – enhance processes, support audits, and maintain strong controls
What you’ll bring
5+ years payroll experience (NZ payroll essential)
Strong understanding of NZ payroll legislation
Experience with payroll/ERP systems
Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a part-time capacity
Confident communicator who builds strong relationships
Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused
