Location: Paco De Arcos - Q45, Portugal

Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process and execute domestic and international payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and banking regulations.

• Monitor payment queues, investigate rejected or returned payments, and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain and update vendor and bank master data in SAP or other ERP systems.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (AP, Treasury, Accounting) to ensure smooth end-to-end payment cycles.

• Support payment process improvements and contribute to automation and system enhancement initiatives.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Payments, Accounts Payable, or Finance Operations within an international environment.

Strong understanding of payment processes, banking platforms, and financial controls.

Proficiency in SAP (FI/AP modules preferred) or other ERP systems; solid Excel skills.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
