Asphalt Crew – Atlantic Road Construction & Paving
Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a well established heavy civil construction company specializing in drilling & blasting, mass excavation, pipeline placement, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Our team has had tremendous growth in the last year, and we are excited to keep expanding. We are looking to hire energetic, hardworking, team players to join our Paving Crew!
Requirements:
Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive attitude.
Must have reliable transportation to our yard in Dartmouth for 6 AM start time.
Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
Previous experience as a asphalt labourer considered an asset
Ability to work as part of a team, can efficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
Load, unload and move asphalt/construction materials around the job site
Daily involvement in safety conscious activities such as tailgate meetings
Raking and shoveling of asphalt
Prepare surfaces for laying of asphalt
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foreman
Assist with any other tasks required by foreman
