East Valley Traveling position

Essential Functions:
• Under the direct supervision of the Physician Support Manager
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
• Schedules/re-schedules patient appointments at the appropriate facility and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintains designated account folder following departmental expectations.
• Communicates regularly with assigned referring offices and appropriate sales representatives.
• Ensures patients have been cleared for specific diagnostic tests.
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information as needed.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Basic computer skills required. Has knowledge of insurance plans.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
• Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Physical Demands:
• This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire:
• Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
